The State of Texas shall impose a 100% surcharge on remittances from an illegal alien to a recipient in a foreign nation. The state shall refuse to grant a birth certificate to any child born to illegal alien parents on Texas soil, shall require proof of legal residency for obtaining a Texas driver’s license or for enrolling in public school, and shall require proof of citizenship for obtaining voter registration and public benefits. Texas shall require all employers to screen new hires through the free E-Verify system to prevent the hiring of illegal aliens and of anyone not legally authorized to work in the United States, and to protect jobs for American workers. No tax dollars shall be provided for social or educational programs for illegal aliens. All existing laws providing for in-state tuition and non-emergency medical care shall be rescinded. All unverifiable foreign-issued identification cards shall be legally invalid in the United States. In addition, the State of Texas should ban the sale of land to illegal aliens and pursue litigation against developers who induce illegal immigration into Texas through marketing.
