Property Tax Exemption for Homeschool and Private School Families

The Republican Party of Texas supports pursuing all legal means to require that any school district Maintenance & Operations (M&O) homestead exemption, limitation, freeze, reduction, credit, or other tax relief provided to persons age 65 or older shall be equally and automatically provided, under identical terms and financial effect, to residence homesteads of homeschool and private school families.
