Right to Use Blockchain Technology

The Republican Party of Texas formally supports the right of individuals to own, use, and trade decentralized cryptocurrencies and utilize blockchain technology without undue government interference. We call upon our state and federal legislators to pass "Right to Mine" and "Right to Self-Custody" laws to ensure that the centralization of blockchain technology by corporate-state hybrids is strictly prohibited. We support the rigorous investigation and potential implementation of decentralized blockchain technology to enhance election integrity, providing a permanent, auditable, and transparent record of results that restores public trust in the electoral process.
