Preventing Any Death by Abortion

Substitute text of Plank 142 with the following text:

We support the protection of preborn children at risk of abortion due to sex, race, disability, fetal anomaly, or gestational age and to ensure families receive information on life-affirming care, including perinatal palliative care. We support strong enforcement of Texas pro-life laws to stop abortion pill trafficking and hold violators accountable, as well as federal enforcement of the Comstock Act to prohibit the mailing of abortion drugs. nI light of Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, which overturned Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey and returned abortion policymaking authority to elected representatives, we call on state and federal lawmakers to enact and enforce meaningful protections for preborn children and mothers.
